Dr Ng received her Masters in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the National University of Singapore and her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Dr Ng was sponsored by the Royal Surgical Colleges of UK to pursue craniomaxillofacial surgery at the Great OrmondStreet Children Hospital and the University College Hospital, London, under the Overseas Doctors Training Scheme.
Dr Ng is currently at Ho Kee Hai & Partners Dental Implant Maxillofacial Aesthetic Centre located at Paragon.
Dr Ng is the first clinician in Southeast Asia to treat patients with navigational surgery for implant placement. A well sought-after exponent of navigational implantology, she was frequently invited to speak on this topic in Southeast Asia, Australia and UK. Dr Ng regularly conducted navigational implantology workshop with Israel’s experts for dental practitioners in this region.
Dr Ng is appointed the Regional Director to the University of Warwick MSc in Implant Dentistry course. Through this course, dentist around the region can get a improve their implant skills and have a Master’s in Dental Implantology - a fast growing field.
I did my front tooth implant with Dr Ng Fooi Chin. She was very detailed in explaining the steps involved. At which stage of the implant surgery would the implant be placed and which stage would the crown be placed.
My implant has lasted 5 years without any problems. I still go back to her for my normal check-ups. She said that I might require another implant as another tooth is quite loose. If I do, I’ll definitely go back to see her for it.
Dr Ng Fooi Chin spoke well in the Malaysia Dental Implant Meeting, learnt a lot from her and her team from Singapore.
