I had my tooth extracted and am looking for a dental surgeon to do implant.

My dentist quoted me $2,400 for the implant. Based on what I read from your website, I believe the cost would be way above this amount. Am I right?

I have also some fear as the dentist said that he see my sinus after he extracted my tooth. Would you recommend that I see a qualified dental surgeon for this procedure and if so, whom would you recommend.

Thank you.

I am a Malaysian residing in Johor Bahru. About 5 years ago, I consulted a dental surgeon in JB with the intention to undergo dental implant as I have lost a few of my upper molars but I was told that it was not an option for me because of excessive bone loss. I understand that bone loss may not be a preventive factor today because of new technology. If this true, can you please recommend a suitable dental implant surgeon(s) for me to consult with to reassess my situation.

Hi Mey ,

you can try Dr S.L. Chan (details posted above). A simple X-ray will reveal the condition of your bone structure whether implant is feasible. If your bones are thin , they can do bone-grafting to strengthen them before the implant.

Lost one of my molar almost one year ago. Have been reading that bone structure will reduce over time. Intending to do implant but worry that my delay may hinder the implant. Also would you be able to recommend a good dentist to do implant?
