I am also interested in doing dental implants. Why do you decide on Dr Peck at NDC instead of Prof Ho or Dr Lim? What are his charges like? any need for grafting? thanks.

Sorry for the late reply… I had both the upper and lower wisdom tooth extracted at the same time. The total cost is around $1,500 but i used by Medisave so i only have to pay around $200+… the rest all by Medisave.

My recovery is pretty fast. In fact, i could “speak properly” on the first day already.

Oh yes, you have to book him in advance (usually about 3 weeks in advance).

I still have one more wisdom teeth to be extracted and i have already booked an appt with him on the 4 March 2010. :0)

Hi Bee Bee,
I already done the first phase dental implant in NDC.
My dentist is Dr. Raymond Peck Hong Lian. He is also a nice detist. Dr. Peck doesn’t talk too much. If you have any question , just ask him, he always answers me patiently. The charge of first visit is same as the private clinic, after that the charge will base on the treatments. But NDC only open during weekdays and day time.
Whoever you choose, your dentist will do a suitable plan for you to solve your problem.
Dr. Peck always tell me “Don’t worry!”. I believe you can have health teeth too.

all these so-called specialists are ripped off artists so you should check around including regular dentist who can easily do dentures and partials.

Can you advise on the cost for your wisdom tooth extraction? I need to get mine done too but I am extremely fearful of visiting the dentist. How’s your recovery so far?

Did you have to book an appointment way way beforehand to see Prof Ho?
